We Look Through A “Kalediscope” In Search of the Invisible Almighty God

One day a kindergarten teacher was walking around observing her classroom of children while they were drawing pictures. As she got to one girl who was working diligently, she asked what the drawing was.
The girl replied, “I’m drawing God.”
The teacher paused and said, “But no one knows what God looks like.”
Without looking up from her drawing, the girl replied, “They will in a minute.”

Many people see God in various ways….

-Some see him as a “Genie”, they give a nod to God, but it comes from a place of superstition and selfishness, rather than a desire to know Him.

-Some people see Him as a ‘First Responder”, they want God to safely remain at a far away distance, but yet be available in case of emergency.

-Some view God as a “Bully”, forcing His will upon Mankind by the threat of eternal Hellfire.

-Some see him as an ‘unmotivated being’ that could care less about the woes of Humans

-Yet still, others call Him “friend” and “Father”. These people acknowledge their own imperfection and sin and the need for God’s mercy and grace.

These are only a few examples of the many ideas held about God and the ways people see Him. How do you personally view Him?
